STRONGER COMMUNITIES – Round 11 grants – MARCH 2023

Northpine is pleased to announce the following recipients of grants in the latest round of funding (Round 11) from its Stronger Communities fund:

• Bream Bay College – for ‘The Panimals’ steelband.
• Bream Bay Sports Trust – ‘Have A Go’ festival mid-Feb through March.
• Ruakaka Scouts – new decking for their Scout Hall.
• Waipu Netball Club – hall hireage for team trainings indoors.
• Waipu Tennis Club – coaching for Juniors.
• Parafed Northland – Wish 4 Fish experience for people with disabilities.

Stronger Communities was initiated in 2020 and made its first allocation in September, soon after the first Covid-19 lockdown ended. Since then, about $60,000 has been distributed in the local (Bream Bay) community.
