Northpine processor Ian King has been recognised for outstanding work performance. At the 2019 Northland Forestry Awards, Ian received the award for Excellence in Wood Processing.

Judges’ citation reads: Ian’s skills and ability to work out solutions is sought-after. He has grasped opportunities for continuous improvement which has led to his broad and comprehensive set of skills. He had stand- out references which showed integrity. 

Ian’s triumph is the fourth time in as many years that a Northpine employee has won the Individual Award for Wood Processing Excellence.

Ian joins his colleagues Bruce Larsen (2016), Nathan Jacoby (2017) and Shane Mansell (2018) in gaining recognition for outstanding achievement.
