Northpine is pleased to announce four recipients in the latest round of grants from its Stronger Communities fund, a programme launched in 2020 to help the people of Bream Bay. The local entities to benefit from the seventh round of funding are:

·      Children With Disability NZ – towards the cost of purchasing and installing a Disability Swing at Waipu Park

·      Parafed Northland – fishing experiences for the disabled on board the Wish 4 Fish catamaran

·      Bream Bay Community Arts Group – assistance with general operating costs

·      Bream Bay Swim Club – assistance with accommodation costs

Grants are made quarterly by Northpine from applications received over the previous three months.

The Stronger Communities programme has distributed over $35,000 in funding to Bream Bay locals for projects, events and activities that enhance local life. Applications are open until mid-May 2022 for the next round of grants, to be announced in early June.
