REACHING HIGHER, GROWING STRONGER

Northpine is pleased to announce three recipients in the latest round of grants from its Stronger Communities fund, a programme launched in 2020 to help the people of Bream Bay.
The local entities to benefit from the latest round of funding are:

• Bream Bay Community Patrol – to help purchase a new patrol vehicle
• ‘The Villy Day Out’ – donated timber for whanau-based community event held 12 November
• Waipu Business & Community Inc (‘Promote Waipu’) - to assist with cost of staging Waipu’s Christmas Eve Street Parade, and Letterbox Competition

Grants distributed in Round 10 total $3,500.00

Grants are made quarterly by Northpine from applications received over the previous three months.

Despite the challenges and uncertainties of Covid-19, Northpine’s Stronger Communities initiative has distributed about $50,000 to Bream Bay locals for projects, events and activities.

Applications are open until 16 February 2023 for the next round of grants, to be announced in March.
