Stronger Communities Grants - Round 9

REACHING HIGHER, GROWING STRONGER

Northpine is pleased to announce five recipients in the latest round of grants from its Stronger Communities fund, a programme launched in 2020 to help the people of Bream Bay.
The local entities to benefit from the ninth round of funding are:

  • Bream Bay Hockey Club – to help Bream Bay College hockey team compete at 2022 National tournament
  • Bream Bay Boat and Fishing Club – to assist with costs of running Labour Weekend Fishing Competition
  • Northland Masters Golf – to assist with Freyberg Tournament in November
  • Pulse Dance Studio - to assist with costs of taking local dance team to Nationals in October
  • Waipu Tennis Club – to pay for new tennis balls

Grants distributed in Round 9 total $5,250.00

Grants are made quarterly by Northpine from applications received over the previous three months.

Despite the challenges and uncertainties of Covid-19, Northpine’s Stronger Communities initiative has distributed about $45,000 in funding to Bream Bay locals for projects, events and activities.

Applications are open until 16 November 2022 for the next round of grants, to be announced in December..
